PURPOSE: The position works in partnership with the Human Resource Director and the Executive Management team on various programs within the organization including employee relations, training, compensation, performance management, benefits, recruiting, and workplace compliance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The HR Manager will help lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resource department.
This includes:
- Support managers on performance improvement opportunities, discipline for performance or behavior concerns and/or termination of employees in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Employee Relations complaints and investigations
- Compliance with laws and regulations (multi-states) and reporting requirements
- Workers’ Compensation and work-related injuries and company safety compliance
- Manage 401(k) administration, including change reporting, invoice review, and communication of benefit information to employees.
- Manage annual benefit renewal process and open enrollment
- Manage annual performance review and salary increase process
- Payroll Administration and year-end reporting using Paycor software
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create and post open positions.
- Manage the unemployment claim requests in collaboration with our TPA.
- Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience working in an HR Management capacity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Superior organizational and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
Education / Training:
A Bachelor’s degree from and accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is required
