Job Opportunity – HR Generalist with Building Crafts, Inc. in the Northern Kentucky area

As an HR Generalist, you will bring an energetic “can do” approach with exceptional attention to detail and multi-tasking ability. You will work with senior managers and employees to accomplish company objectives. You will provide support to all areas of the organization with a focus on recruitment/employment onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, policy implementation, claims management, and compliance.

Other responsibilities of this position include:

Developing and implementing recruitment strategies, coordinating screening, interviewing, and recruiting for open opportunities across all positions in the organization.
Benefits administration and open enrollment, to include processing of Worker’s Compensation requests, unemployment claims, FMLA requests, STD/LTD claims, life insurance claims, and leave of absence requests.
Maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. Maintaining HRIS system records including tax and benefit deductions, and compiling reports as needed.
Onboarding all new hires.
Administering the performance management process.
Assisting in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have:

Associate’s Degree in Business or related field, Bachelor’s preferred, with specialization in Human Resources preferred.
5-7 additional years of generalist experience, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
Knowledge of employment, compliance and regulatory laws and regulations.
Self-motivated and capable of working under tight deadlines and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred.
