Job Opportunity – HR Manager with Building Crafts, Inc. in the Northern Kentucky area

As the HR Manager, you will bring an energetic “can do” approach with exceptional attention to detail and multi-tasking ability. You will work with senior managers and employees to accomplish company objectives. You will be leading all facets of Human Resources at Building Crafts. This Role has a heavy leaning toward talent management by maintaining a positive and high performing company culture and demonstrated experience in recruiting, qualifying and hiring, with a superior on-boarding process.

Other responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing and implementing recruitment strategies, coordinating screening, interviewing, and recruiting for open opportunities across all positions in the organization.
  • Develop and coordinate an orientation and on-boarding process where all new hires are assimilated successfully into their positions and the company culture.
  • Benefits administration and open enrollment, to include processing of Worker’s Compensation requests, unemployment claims, FMLA requests, STD/LTD claims, life insurance claims, and leave of absence requests.
  • Maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. Maintaining HRIS system records including tax and benefit deductions, and compiling reports as needed.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field with specialization in Human Resources preferred.
  • 10 plus years of Human Resources experience.
  • Knowledge of employment, compliance and regulatory laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working under tight deadlines and prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred.
