As the Human Resources Director, you will provide subject matter expertise and leadership in the design and execution of human resources strategies in partnership with corporate strategy. Lead company in coaching/counseling leaders and employees in both legal matters as well as employee relations issues, talent acquisition & management, succession planning, training & development, compensation & benefits, performance management & workforce planning, compliance, and maintaining employee relations.


Partners with leadership team to develop and implement strategic human resource initiatives, policies and programs that align with vision and strategic plan.
Directs and oversees the recruitment/branding, interviewing, testing and selection of employees
Develops, plans and manages employees who conduct new employee orientations to foster positive attitudes toward company goals and compliance
Develops and administers employee recruitment and retention strategies consistent with existing policies and practices.
Ensures benefits programs such as workers compensation, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ERISA, FFCRA life, health, vison, accident, dental, disability, retirement, paid time off, sick leave of absences, wellness programs, unemployment, and employee assistance are appropriately administered and remain in compliance
Takes benefit programs out to bid and creates strategies to control cost while maintaining competitive benefit program to attract and maintain talent.
Ensures accidents are properly investigated and that all paperwork and procedures are followed.
Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within the organization.
Responsible for the coordination and administration of salary adjustments and bonuses insuring compliance under the FLSA and EEO.
Conducts wage surveys within labor markets to determine competitive wage rates.
Prepares and oversees the budget for human resources.
Recommends and/or develops training programs with appropriate staff for managers and staff in variety of topics to include leadership, communication, time management, interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, sexual harassment, diversity and workplace violence, professional development and any other area of training and development as needed.
Administers performance management program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.
Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting comply.
Oversee handling of any employment-related litigation, including but not limited to employment discrimination claims, worker’s compensation claims, and unemployment compensation claims, working with outside counsel and insurers as appropriate.
Propose and administer personnel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ADA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA USERRA, EEO regulations, OSHA, COBRA, Healthcare Reform (ACA), FFCRA and any other federal, state and local employment laws and regulations


Bachelor’s degree in human resources, plus eight to ten years Human Resource leadership experience, plus SPHR or SHRM -SCP certification.
Knowledge of Human Resources practices to include recruiting, branding, retention, compensation, benefits, on-boarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and employment law.
Knowledge of regulatory experience, compliance, employment law; experience drafting policies and procedures, writing, and reviewing EEO position statement responses.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
