Job Summary: Payroll preparation/processing, account analysis, journal entry processing, outside agency reporting, and other general accounting functions.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities: 

  1. Payroll preparation/processing and distribution of Payroll to all departments.
  2. Process all payroll related journal entries and reconcile general ledger balance sheet accounts pertaining to payroll.
  3. Maintain personnel time records regarding vacation, sick, personal time, etc.
  4. Process Workers Compensation true-up report annually.
  5. Reconciliation of annual W-2 reporting for federal, state and local agencies.
  6. Prepare bank deposits and functions.
  7. Complete employee verification when salary information requested.
  8. Custodian of Proximity Card Security System.
  9. Show strong attention to detail and communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  10. Perform general administrative support
  11. Assist with a variety of projects within the Human Resources department, including open enrollment, orientation, training, the annual awards/recognition banquet and distribution of materials to employees
  12. Prepare and reconcile medical billings for entry into accounts payable.
  13.  Other duties as assigned.
