Small size (80 employees) manufacture is looking for an experienced HR in Richmond, KY. Sole HR in this company.

Expectation: Handle all aspect of HR for the company. Train assistant.

• Deals with employee requests or questions regarding benefits, timekeeping, human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
• Conducts employee investigations into harassment, discrimination, and employment instances; providing recommendations to plant leadership on appropriate action.
• Reviews and updates employment policies and procedures as needed.
• Assists in review of hiring needs and recommendations with plant leadership in regards to production needs.
• Review of applicant qualifications and provide feedback on background and qualifications
• Participates in interview process of candidates providing feedback for recommended hires
• Facilitates orientation and coordination of training needs with plant leadership.
• Ensure performance manage and corrective action processes are administered according to procedure and guidelines
• Compiles, stores, and updates employee records in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Processes documentation and prepares reports relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, etc.
• Handles security badges and entrance qualifications for all employees and visitors.
• Coordinates distribution and return of all company property to staff such as company cell phones.
• Responsible for core values such as improve awareness, react, initiative, sharing, enrich communication, positive influence, effort, sense of duty, teamwork, and creativity.
