Minimum Qualifications:
* Associate degree in accounting, Finance or related field required, or direct relevant experience in lieu of degree. CPP or FPC certification preferred.
* A minimum of three years’ relevant experience in payroll processing required.
* Has a passion to work with Elders.
* Has the ability to maintain confidentiality.
*Experience with Microsoft Office suite required, including Word, Excel and Outlook, and have a high level of accuracy in data entry.
*Is able to relate to and deal tactfully with team members across multiple processes, have strong interpersonal skills and maintain good working relationships with team members, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, payroll/benefits providers and the general public.
*Has a high degree of organization and attention to detail; has the ability to handle multiple priorities, to work independently, and to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
*Must be fully up to date with COVID19 and seasonal flu vaccinations and maintain annual regulatory compliance.
As a Payroll Administrator you can expect to:
Handles all aspects of biweekly payroll processing, including but not limited to:
Processing step wage increases.
Processing all status and other changes in the HRIS system.
Identifying and paying EARN More referral amounts following EARN More payments, updating 403b contributions, employer match classifications, and 403b loan repayments.
Managing the payment of short-term disability payments
Bonus payments
Team member terminations and PTO payout.
Reviews payroll exceptions and works with department managers to correct timecard issues prior to completing bi-weekly payroll.
Ensures accurate payroll files are transmitted to payroll vendor on a timely basis to meet the deadlines provided by payroll vendor.
Submits post-payroll payments and documentation to vendors.
Processes terminations in other Human Resources systems including OnShift, Relias, PNC, and We Care Connect.
Assists team members in understanding paycheck and premium calculations.
Assists in the payroll audit process and other audits as requested.
Ensures certification/licensure compliance for all ERS team members.
Assists with team member relations, providing requested forms, completing verifications, and answering general Human Resource questions.
Actively seeks engaging relationships with ERS team members, residents, vendors and providers.
Provides quarterly and ad hoc reporting for HR team and operational managers.
May provide some back up assistance for the Human Resource Coordinator.
