Due to our continued growth, we are searching for an HRBP-Benefits to join our growing team.
Position Summary
In coordination with the VP of Human Resources, this position plans, proposes and coordinates the administration of Board approved benefit plans. The primary focus of this role is to connect the employees to their benefits and facilitate benefits as a competitive advantage for attracting and retaining employees. In addition, this role supports additional HR functions including employee relations and talent acquisition.
Primary Functions
Collects, compiles, and analyzes HR data, metrics, and statistics related to employee benefits and leaves of absence, applying this data to make recommendations related to employee benefits and leave entitlements.
Organizes and measures compliance, development, and maintenance of vendor relations, maintains up to date benefits records and coordinates secure transfer of eligibility and enrollment files to the carriers and broker. Sets up plans in company database for annual open enrollment period.
Administers Total Absence Management including FML, third-party disability, personal leaves of absence, and coordinates WC/FML in conjunction with Safety Manager.
Organizes and administers wellness programs.
Provides day-to-day support on employee relations issues, performance behavior, talent acquisition, policies and procedures for the corporate offices and branch employees.
Collects and compiles key HR metrics and data from a variety of sources, including human resource information systems (HRIS) and payroll outputs, benefits enrollment records, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, personnel records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention toward benefits enrollment, absenteeism, leave use, recruitment, motivation, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Facilitates implementation of new leave programs, benefits plans, and other related initiatives.
Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
At least 5-7 years of progressive human resources experience, preferably in manufacturing and food production with a focus on benefits.
Good computer skills including HR systems (ADP) and MS Office.
Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels both internally and externally.
The ability to work with and maintain information of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
