Our team in the St. Louis area is looking for a Human Resources professional to support the team at the St. Peters Fulfillment Center. The Human Resource Business Partner, known internally as a People Partner, is the point partner for this busy fulfillment center, supporting day-to-day operations.  As an extension of the HQ People Team, you will be responsible for administering various HR activities and programs such as employee relations, onboarding, benefits, compensation, team member development, and team member engagement.

What you will do:
Represent the People Experience team as the primary on-site HR partner responsible for supporting a warehouse of 250+ team members
Be a business partner to the General Manager/Director of Fulfillment and other on-site leaders
Ensure a welcoming and high touch employee engagement experience with timely communication and following up with outcomes
Track and maintain leave of absence, workers compensation, and OSHA reporting
Own all People practices for the location
Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team regarding associate hiring needs
Partner with operations management on employee relations and employee development
Work closely with Team Member committees to provide input and feedback on employee engagement opportunities
Team up with internal and local counsel on compliance requirements such as harassment training, local posting notices, and escalations
Work cross-functionally on projects with members of the People Team throughout Grove on strategic initiatives

Skills and Experience Required:
At least 6 years of Human Resources experience with at least 2 years of experience as a Generalist
Experience in a fast-paced fulfillment, retail, eCommerce, or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
Solid knowledge of Local, State, and Federal labor laws
Experience with supporting multiple internal client groups and an employee population of non-exempt and salary
SHRM-CP or similar certification is a plus
Familiarity with ADP (payroll & HCM), and Lever (ATS) is a plus
Must be able to work on-site. This Fulfillment Center operates on day shift only, Sunday to Saturday. The P/X Partner is on site Monday through Friday.
