Overview
Position Summary:
Milacron is looking for a Benefits Manager to join our team in Batavia, OH. As the Benefits Manager, you will develop and manage benefit programs, oversee compliance and administration, handle customer service inquiries, execute open enrollment, reconcile budgets, and analyze data with partners.
Work You’ll Do:
- Develop and sustain benefit programs and partnerships with third-party vendors, ensuring accurate administration and compliance
- Manage escalations and customer service inquiries from associates and HR, leveraging technical expertise and established policies
- Oversee benefit file transfers, payroll deductions, and 401(k) funding, including annual true-up processes for employer contributions
- Coordinate service requests and facilitate all leave letters while adhering to guidelines and policies
- Execute open enrollment management and handle recurring transactional functions related to invoicing and funding
- Conduct monthly budget reconciliation and collaborate with Finance to manage global benefits expenses and identify cost trends
- Engage with Benefit Partners to analyze demographic and health data, providing insights for strategic planning and benchmarking
- Apply industry standards to track health and wellness data, supporting the understanding of population health and improving benefit offerings
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, human resources, or related field, with a focus on designing and implementing benefits programs
- Understanding of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, FMLA) that govern employee benefits and compliance requirements
- Ability to negotiate with vendors and service providers to secure favorable terms and pricing for benefit offerings
- Familiarity with benefits administration software, HRIS systems, and data management tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
