Under the direction of the HR Manager, the HR Generalist ensures that the flow of activity for the Human Resources Team runs smoothly and issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. Maintains efficiency in all aspects of the job and serves as resource for employee engagement activities. Responsible for general HR duties including but not limited to: consultation for benefits, support of talent management process, generating monthly metrics and providing support to various stakeholders on HRIS software and additional HR personnel platforms. Maintains awareness of and compliance with federal and state regulations governing employment. Responsible for employee onboarding and supporting talent acquisition/recruitment efforts.
Bachelor degree required; Masters preferred in Human Resources or related field
5 years of generalist experience demonstrating in-depth knowledge of multiple Human Resources disciplines such as recruiting, employee relations, benefits, compensation, federal and state employment laws.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
KRONOS/Sum Total (Acer) experience highly preferred.
Professional HR / Senior Professional HR Certification preferred (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, CHHR)
