SEI is looking for a (Human Resources) HR Generalist to join our team and administer and implement various human resources programs in our Services organization located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The HR Generalist will work hand-in-hand with our HR and Benefits Manager to administer all HR functions for our 10 office locations, including but not limited to employee onboarding, benefit plans,  leaves, hires, HR policies and procedures, etc. The ideal candidate will use our HRIS systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. You will also act as a point of contact for employees’ queries on HR.

Duties to Include:

  • Administer compensation and benefits plans
  • Conduct Employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Undertake tasks around performance management
  • Gather and analyze data using various HRIS systems
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Administer background and drug screening programs
  • Implement employee recognition programs
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential
  • Maintain quality service by following organization standards
  • Collaborate and support the team to accomplish goals in alignment with the Administration Team and HR Manager
  • Perform and work independently as well as in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Fosters teamwork to achieve overall team success


  • Proven Experience as an HR Generalist
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge or employment/labor laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Desire to work as a team with results-driven approach
  • BSc/BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field; or experience
  • Additional HR training is a plus
