About the role:
As a Payroll Coordinator for TQL, you will perform the administrative and clerical duties to support and contribute to the overall efficient operation of Payroll. You will be responsible for becoming a subject-matter-expert on all payroll tasks and be able to answer all inquiries to ensure we consistently provide world-class HR services throughout the company.

What you’ll be doing:
Prepares payroll for hourly and salaried employees located in multiple states
Ensures that all federal, state and local taxes, Social Security contributions, contributions to employee benefit programs, and other deductions, are withheld from individual paychecks
Provides world-class customer service to employees regarding paycheck stubs, W-2 reprints and to resolve user and system issues
Processes payroll garnishments in accordance with applicable statutes
Reconcile employee deductions, employee PTO, etc.
Responds to external and internal requests for payroll information in a timely manner
Serves as a liaison with other departments, units, or locations in the resolution of payroll problems
What you need:
Knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems; Workday is a plus
Proficient in all aspects of payroll
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to maintain confidential information is of extreme importance
Strong work ethic and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in and out of the HR/Payroll Department
Flexibility in schedule and range of duties required
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (face to face and phone)
Impeccable organizational skills
Must be a self-starter and work well with little direction
Ability to stay focused in an extremely active/open office environment
